Our Hamden CERT Basic Class #17 was unique, to say the least. After starting their first 3 classes in person in March of 2020, we had to switch to virtual classes because of the national pandemic health emergency. Hamden CERT Members had the opportunity to assist the volunteers from the Samaritan’s Purse Relief Organization in helping homeowners recover from the damage caused by the tornado and storms of May 15th, 2018.
