Warner St. 3-Alarm Fire

Congratulations to Class 17!
Our Hamden CERT Basic Class #17 was unique, to say the least. After starting their first 3 classes in person in March of 2020, we had to switch to virtual classes because of the national pandemic health emergency. CERT Assists Samaritan's Purse
Hamden CERT Members had the opportunity to assist the volunteers from the Samaritan’s Purse Relief Organization in helping homeowners recover from the damage caused by the tornado and storms of May 15th, 2018. Multiple teams headed out to Hamden, North Haven, and Wallingford in assisting homeowners with the cutting of hazardous trees, limbs, branches and removal of storm debris.
