The Hamden, CT. CERT Program, sponsored by the Hamden Fire Department is a fully volunteer, public service organization and a modern version of the old Civil Defense Program from many years ago. Hamden CERT Members, acting as an extension of Hamden Emergency Management has been serving the residents and visitors of Hamden for the last 17 years. At the present time we have 91 sworn members who are dedicated, caring, skilled individuals who enjoy the opportunity of making our community better and safer for all.
